MINIS PROGRAM

Designed for 1st-3rd Graders, this program focuses on pom and hip hop dance, with an emphasis on basic techniques such as leaps, turns, and body awareness. Practices are held on Tuesdays during the school year and on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer. Dancers compete at the State Fair in August, Watertown in December, Madison in January, and Brookfield in February. There are opportunities for solos, duets, and small group dances, as well as a parade performance in July. Tryouts are typically in mid-March, with teams being set in the same month; exceptions may be made depending on team size and dancer experience.
