JUNIOR PROGRAM

Targeted at 6th-8th Graders, this program offers elevated levels of dance, including a variety of turns, jumps, and tricks. Pom elements are achieved through strength training and precise movement. Dancers perform a professionally choreographed Hip Hop routine. Optional contemporary, lyrical, or jazz classes are available for an additional fee. This team attends a 4-day/3-night dance camp at Carroll College and qualifies for Midwest Finals in Schaumburg, IL in August. Additionally, they compete at the State Fair in August, Watertown in December, Madison in January, and Brookfield in February. There are opportunities for solos, duets, and small group dances, as well as a parade performance in July. A Junior workshop is also held in November. Tryouts are typically in mid-March, with teams being set in the same month; exceptions may be made depending on team size and dancer experience.
