YOUTH PROGRAM

Aimed at 4th-6th Graders, this program continues the development of pom and hip hop dance skills, introducing intermediate techniques including a variety of leaps, turns, and tricks. Practices are held on Thursdays during the school year and on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer. Dancers compete at the State Fair in August, Watertown in December, Madison in January, and Brookfield in February. There are opportunities for solos, duets, and small group dances, as well as a parade performance in July. A Junior workshop is also held in November. Tryouts are typically in mid-March, with teams being set in the same month; exceptions may be made depending on team size and dancer experience.
