Northglenn Youth Theatre Academy

The Northglenn Youth Theatre Academy (NYTA) is a comprehensive performing arts training program offered through Northglenn Arts, the cultural services division of the City of Northglenn. Designed for young performers ages 6–18, NYTA provides structured, progressive instruction in acting, vocal performance, and musical theatre dance across four skill levels — Beginning, Basics, Building, and Beyond — so students can grow at their own pace. Classes are taught by professional instructors and emphasize hands-on learning, stage presence, and collaborative ensemble work. Students develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills while exploring the full world of live performance. NYTA also serves as a feeder into the Northglenn Youth Theatre (NYT) production company, where students can audition for full-scale professional productions performed in a real theatre setting. Whether your child is stepping on stage for the first time or refining their craft, NYTA offers an encouraging and affordable environment to discover and grow a lifelong love of the arts.
