Holiday in Lights Parade
Pueblo West Metropolitan District Parks and Recreation
Our most magical event of the year! Lighted floats parade down Joe Martinez Blvd in a winter wonderland of cheer, followed by a bonfire, cookies, cocoa, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. This annual tradition ends with the community Christmas tree lighting and plenty of photo ops. Parade entry is free with a toy donation to benefit families in need.
Halloween 5k Fun Run and Halloween Bash
Pueblo West Metropolitan District Parks and Recreation
Don't be scared... unless you're not planning to attend one of the most fun events of the season! The first annual Halloween 5k fun run is a great way to get in the Halloween spirit! It will run through the park and onto our trail system with fun trick or treating stops along the way. There will be a 1 mile fun run option as well. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us for this event. Be sure to wear your best costume—we’ll be looking to hand out trophies for the coolest ones we see. See you there… if you dare!
